Cruise-in & Drive Tour
Aurora, OR | JUNE 2022
22 members and their vintage Chevrolets met for breakfast at McDonald’s before leaving for a scenic drive to the little town of Aurora, Oregon. Along the way, there were spectacular views of the Willamette River. Upon arrival, we parked amongst several other collectible automobiles and trucks for their annual Father’s Day cruise in. Aurora is a town known for its old buildings containing many antique shops. There was plenty of time for looking through the shops as well as talking with the curious visitors about the club. Around noon the group was rounded up for a short drive to the Canby Dairy Queen. A park-like area behind the building had some picnic tables that were available for us to use. There was lots of drive-in food consumed and more time for visiting. The chance of rain was looking threatening and eventually, everyone made their way homeward.
