WOOD & STONE TOUR

WASHINGTON CO. | JULY 2017

The club always enjoys touring through the scenic farmlands of Washington Co. and this was no exception. The tour debuted a newly restored Chevrolet, a 1926 landau coupe of Joe and Brenda Taylor. The tour’s first stop was at the Rice Museum of Rocks and Minerals.  Founded by Richard and Helen Rice in 1996, the museum is a world-class collection of high quality crystal and mineral specimens from throughout the world. After viewing the impressive collection, the group drove on to Helvetia Tavern (a local favorite on the west side of Portland) for lunch.
