BACKROADS TOUR

WASHINGTON CO., OR | SEptember 2018

Touring the backroads of Washington Co. and stopping at the Old Scotch church. The second day of fall turned out to be a warm, sunny day to tour the back roads of Washington County. We followed the Vineyards and Valley Scenic Tour route. Light traffic made the drive very enjoyable. We stopped at the Old Scotch church and pioneer cemetery. The church was established in 1873 and is the final resting place of Col. Joseph L. Meek. Meek, an early pioneer in the county, was instrumental in forming Oregon Territory in 1843. We ended up in a great restaurant in Forest Grove…a really fun tour!
